Water Pipe Leakage on Jl. Kepanduan Repaired

PDAM Jaya's partner, PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) which acts as clean water service and provision operator repairs pipe leakage in Urban Forest of Jalan Kepanduan, North Jakarta.

Water supply will gradually return to normal from 3 AM on Tuesday (7/30)

PDAM Jaya Technical Director, Barce Simarmata informed, leakage is occurred in one of Palyja's pipes with diameter of 500 millimeter and depth of 4 meters. Personnel have been deployed since Sunday night to do excavation near West Flood canal to repair it.

"Since its location near West Flood Canal, it is hard for dewatering. But, we hope this repair to finish tonight," he conveyed, Monday (7/29).

In the other hand, Palyja Corporate Communications & Social Responsibilities Division Head, Lydia Astriningworo also informed, there are several areas affected due to pipe leakage. Those are in Pluit Karang Elok, Pluit Karang Asri, Pluit Karang Ayu, Pluit Karang Utara, Pluit Karang Barat, Pluit Karang Sari, Muara Karang Raya, Pluit Karang Indah, Pluit Karang Canti, Pluit Karang Jelita, Pluit Karang Manis, Pluit Karang Sari, Pluit Karang Indah, Muara Karang Timur, Pluit Karang Raya, Pluit Karang Molek, Muara Angke, Pluit Selatan Raya, and its surrounding.

"Water supply will gradually return to normal from 3 AM on Tuesday (7/30). Currently we are trying to cooperate with other related sides to give optimal service for residents," she explained.

For information, her side also provides water tanker to anticipate water needs in emergency situation such as in hospital, worship place, and social house.
